Antonio Faraò

Antonio Faraò is considered worldwide one of the greatest talents in contemporary jazz. 

It boasts many awards and participations in the most important jazz festival, and among its numerous and prestigious collaborations, we can mention the likes of Pat Metheny, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Tony Scott, Jack Dejonnette, Wayne Dockery, Richard Galliano, Billy Cobham, Toots Thielemann, Chico Freeman, Miroslav Vitous, John Abercrombie, Bob Mintzer, and in Italy with the great Mina. 

She has a deep respect for him also a great genius of jazz as HERBIE HANCOCK, who said recently: "I do not often be surprised by recordings of musicians, as I was when for the first time I heard one of the last CD of Antonio Faraò. 

What struck me was the feeling that I felt inside of me. 

There is so much warmth, conviction and determination in his playing. 

I was immediately attracted to his harmonic conception, the joy of his rhythms and his sense of swing, grace and candor of his improvised melodic lines.
