Antonio Principe

Began studying music at age 10 under the guidance of his father Domenico (a talented saxophonist) and then enrolled at the Conservatory of Music of Foggia "U. Giordano" and get a diploma in piano with honors in 2000. 
In parallel with the study of classical music explores jazz, influenced by listening to Oscar Peterson. 
In 2004 he obtained a diploma in jazz at the Conservatory "L. Marenzio" Brescia and won two prestigious international competitions in jazz: Prize "Maurizio Lama" as the best jazz pianist in Moncalieri (TO) of 2004 and first prize at '"International Massimo Urbani Award "in Camerino (MC) 2005. 
In 1997 he studied at "Siena Jazz" with Enrico Pieranunzi and Franco D'andrea and sounds in groups of ensemble music with Enrico Rava. 
He has played with several famous names in jazz: Peppino Principe, Massino Manzi, Massimo Moriconi, Guido Bombardieri ..... 
He currently plays in various jazz.
