I started my musical career in big band in 1982 (even before I finished my studies at the conservatory), where I joined musicians like Emilio Soana, Rudy Miliardi, Gianni Bedori and Gil Cuppini.
Subsequently I attended master classes and master classes with Bob Mintzer, Claudio Roditi, Gustavo Bergalli, Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, Klaus Ignatzek and Tiger Okoshi.
Between the eighties and nineties I also dedicated myself to classical music and I collaborated with some groups of brass and symphonic orchestras, including Gli Ottoni di Verona, the Eur Orchestra of Florence and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano, giving concerts in Italy and abroad (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Holland, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland and Hungary).
In 1991 I started collaborating with jazz orchestras, including: JAO, Big Band of the Luca Marenzio Conservatory of Brescia, CBBand, Lydian Sound Orchestra, Merulo Big Band, Mauro Ottolini Big Band, Union Jazz Band, Verona Improvisers Jazz Orchestra, Village Big Band and Union Jazz Band.
In 1994 I started to direct the Mantua Band Studio, a big jazz band composed of five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones and a rhythm section that, over the years, has evolved ever more from an interpretative and technical point of view, expanding the its network of collaborations and intensifying the registration sessions.
In addition to the aforementioned contexts, I continue to perform concert activities also in small groups or soloist contexts, both in the classical and jazz fields.
