Maurizio Geri

He began his career working with the singer Caterina Bueno and, following his recovery of traditional musical repertoire of Pistoia mountains, as part of the Collective Folk and Gypsy Jazz. 
Playing in various formations has participated in festivals throughout Europe, Australia and North America, as the Folkest of Udine, Festival Parthenay (France - 1996), the Clusone Jazz Festival (1997), the Lisbon Expo (1998), Festival Django Reinhardt Samois (France 2000), Festival of Sant Chartier (France 2000), Festival d'Ete in Quebec (Canada - 2000), Harrison Festival (Canada 2003), Port Fairy Festival and Blue Mountains (Australia - 2007) and has recorded several CDs. 
Maurizio Geri Swingtet. 
The group, formed in 1994, by Maurizio Geri, currently has, over the same Geri, by Giacomo Tosti (accordion), Luca Giovacchini (guitar), Michele Marini (clarinet) and Nicola Vernuccio (bass). 
This is one of the first, if not the first in Italy, to take a cue from the repertoire Manouche, to play original songs and revisit Italian composers.
